Fontanella Green House is an ideal property located in the charming Ciutat Vella district. It is conveniently close to main tourist areas, easily accessible by Metro, and surrounded by fantastic restaurants. the 24-hour access adds to the convenience of staying here.

Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a low budget city break. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. You couldn't get much closer to Placa de Catalunya - ideal for the airport shuttle bus, and reasonably quiet considering it's right in the centre of Barcelona.

The hotel was quirky and the staff exceptionally nice, amazing location to plaza catalunya. My room was tastefully decorated & new-fashioned with modern furnitures, a shared bathroom and soap. Location: the venue was close to the shopping area and Metro, and the subway.

The staff were excellent here at the hotel. Claudi the guy at the reception was very helpfull and spoke good english. And the other staff were alway smiling. I felt like I was staying at a friends house.

This hotel is in a superb location - close to the heart of all the city life - and run by a very pleasant family. It is ideal for anyone taking a city break for up to a week who wants convenience and a decent room without any particular frills.
The rooms aren't particularly spacious although sufficient.

It was a hotel with character. Also, it was very clean and recently renovated. The person in the reception was very very nice and serviceminded.
You could hear the noise (traffic) from the streets.

Excellent location near La Rambla and main attractions. Spacious and clean room with comfortable amenities. Friendly and helpful staff. Close proximity to Gothic Quarter and El Born.

Friendly staff, excellent location, clean rooms, brings you right into the heart of the great city of Barcelona.
No complaints. Some might have a quibble about the noise from the street, but you're high enough up, and you can close the window. It caused us no bother.
